(Lisbon).- SBC Connect is the ultimate companion app for the SBC Summit—an all-in-one tool developed in-house to enhance your event experience. Whether you're exploring conference sessions or making valuable connections, the app is built to support you every step of the way: before, during, and after the summit.

With over a decade of running world-class events – and countless conversations with attendees about what really counts – we decided to take matters into our own hands.
Why? Because no one understands the needs of our audience better than we do. And just like that, SBC Connect was born.
Best of all, it’s incredibly easy to access. Available on both desktop and mobile (just download it via iOS or Android), SBC Connect brings everything together, meeting scheduling, company directories, real-time updates, and more, right at your fingertips.

First Things First
If you’ve got a ticket to the event, you have access to SBC Connect.
The app is officially launching on Wednesday, 13th August, and you will receive an email from us letting you know it’s ready to use. Keep an eye out for an email from support@sbcconnect.com (if you can’t seem to find it, it might be hiding in your spam folder, so don’t forget to check there too)!
If you have never used the app before, you will also receive an email with a subject line that reads “Welcome to SBC Connect.” To finalise your account setup, you simply need to click the button in the email and set your password.
Magic Link
A magic link is a secure, password-free way to log in to SBC Connect. Instead of entering a password, you simply request a one-time-use link sent to the email you used to register.
Click the link, and you’re in! No codes, no setup screens, and no fuss. It’s fast, convenient, and especially handy if you’re logging in for the first time or don’t want to remember another password.
When signing in, you’ll either be prompted to enter your password or request a magic link, depending on your account setup. If you choose the magic link, check your inbox for an email titled “Your SBC Connect magic link login”, click it, and you’re good to go. If the link expires, don’t worry — you can easily request a new one or create a password for quicker access in the future.
Why Should I Download the App?
Here’s what you can do with your event companion, SBC Connect.
- Efficient Meeting Scheduling: Organise and schedule meetings with other delegates in advance for optimal networking. Meetings will automatically be scheduled to take place at the SBC Connect Lounge, but with over 30 additional lounges located throughout the event, you’ll find plenty of comfortable spaces to hold focused conversations with prospective clients.
- Digital Badges: Share your credentials easily using a personal QR code (please note that this is only available on the mobile version).
- Advanced User Search: With 30,000 industry stakeholders attending, including operators, affiliates, payment professionals, suppliers, and a remarkable 39% senior-level decision makers, streamlining your networking is more important than ever. Use the advanced search filters in the app to find and connect with the right delegates. Filter by job title, industry, and more to identify key contacts and make meaningful connections faster.
- Private User Chats: Whether you want to spark a conversation ahead of the event, or you’re running late to a scheduled meeting, having a safe, secure, and private way to chat is always helpful! Thankfully, the SBC Connect app has its own built-in chat feature that lets you connect instantly with other attendees.
- Comprehensive Company List: Everyone who attends SBC Summit will no doubt have their own business action plan in place. But this means nothing if you can’t get them in the room with them! SBC Connect provides a complete list of companies and their delegates who have registered on the app, allowing you to efficiently plan and prioritise your meetings both before and during the event.
- Exhibitor Information: With a show floor featuring dedicated Casino & iGaming, Sports Betting and Player Protection zones as well as two side summits, Affiliate Leaders Summit and Payment Expert Summit, locating the right exhibitor can be a task. That’s where SBC Connect comes in; you’ll get all the details about exhibitors, including their stand numbers. Perfect for targeting specific businesses you want to connect with.
- Full Conference Agenda: From headline speakers like Randi Zuckerberg and Gary Vaynerchuk to panels featuring world football legends and industry-leading CEOs, the conference agenda is packed with unmissable content. With so much to take in, staying organised is essential, and SBC Connect is here to help. Its built-in conference agenda lets you browse sessions, save your favourites, and access real-time updates, so you can make the most of your experience without missing a single moment of insight.
- On-Demand Session Access: With more than 100 conference panels, presentations, and keynotes happening throughout SBC Summit, it’s only natural that you might miss a few. But don’t worry, every session will be available on-demand after the event via the SBC Connect app. Catch up on anything you missed and revisit your favourite moments anytime, anywhere.
- Interactive Floor Plan: Navigate SBC Summit’s 135,000m² show floor with ease! The app will feature a detailed, interactive floor plan, meaning you can traverse the event with ease, whilst locating key exhibitors, networking zones and conference stages on the way!
- Real-Time Alerts & Notifications: With a global event the size of SBC Summit, there are always the occasional last-minute changes, exciting new additions and the odd keynote you may have forgotten! Receive important updates and reminders from event organisers directly on your device. (Make sure to ensure your app notifications are turned on!)
- Live Help Accessibility: We highly doubt you will need it, but if you do run into any issues, immediate help is just a tap away from the support team.
- Personal Favourites List: Whether it’s the Tech Academies, the Legends Charity Game Press Conference, or a must-visit exhibitor, everyone has their event highlights. With the SBC Connect app, you can tailor your experience by adding sessions, attendees, and companies to your personal favourites, making it easy to access what matters most to you, all in one place.
- Event Schedule Overview: SBC Summit is shaping up to be our most action-packed edition yet, from daytime gatherings like the Global Gaming Women Breakfast Meet-up to evening highlights such as the INFINITY Lisbon and SBC Awards. Get a complete overview of all activities, including networking events, expo floor meet-ups, conference opening times, and more!
- What’s On Feature: Stay up-to-date with a real-time overview of current and upcoming sessions, meetings, and activities. Please note that this feature is only available DURING the event.
The Homepage
When you log in to SBC Connect, you’ll find everything you need right on the homepage – super easy! You’ll see the main menu, a quick overview of your meeting updates (confirmed, declined, pending), and shortcuts to Your Schedule, Your Messages, and Your Favourites (sessions, attendees, companies).
First things first: When you log in for the first time, take a minute to update your profile and calendar availability. Just head to your Profile Settings here.
Here’s what you can update:
- Your name, last name, and company, plus your job title
- Your social media handles and website URLs
- Your notification preferences
- Your calendar settings – so only your chosen free time slots will show up to others who want to book a meeting
Pro Tip: Write a short intro for your profile that clearly explains what you’re looking for at the event. It’ll save you from random meeting requests and help you connect with the right people. The more details you give, the better your experience!
You can also upload your photo to make it easier for people to recognise you – especially helpful for those who haven’t met you before.
Used SBC Connect before? Great! Your details are probably already there. But if anything’s changed – like your job title – double-check that your profile is up to date.
The Navigation Menu
On the left-hand side, you will find the following:
- Schedule: Your go-to overview of everything happening at SBC Summit. Easily browse the full event schedule, add items to your calendar, and check activity locations via the interactive map. It’s perfect for a quick refresher on key timings — from conference opening hours and meet-up slots, to evening networking events like the SBC Summit Opening Party.
- Agenda: This is your personalised conference planner. Build your own agenda by saving sessions to your favourites or calendar. Explore everything from the headline keynotes on the Super Stage to deep dives on the Global and Emerging Markets Stage. Each listing includes panel descriptions, times, speakers, and locations, so you can plan every moment of your day with confidence.
- Attendees: You can browse the list of registered attendees. Access info about them, request a meeting, use the chat button, or add someone to your favourites to easily keep track of connections. Make sure to use the “Advanced user search” feature for more targeted results.
- Companies: As SBC’s global flagship event, SBC Summit is set to welcome thousands of companies from across the globe! Within the app, you’ll find an alphabetically sorted directory of all participating companies, which includes the number of delegates from each company, so you can quickly check their job titles and see if they’re relevant to you. You can also search for specific companies, add them to favourites, or request meetings with the company’s employees.
- Exhibitors: In this section, you’ll find exhibiting companies along with their stand numbers and showfloor location. The company names are clickable, leading you to further info like company introductions, email addresses, brochures, and videos if available. Don’t forget to favourite companies to keep them organised in your favourites list!
- Sponsors: The same applies to sponsors – they just don’t have a stand number. However, if a sponsor is also exhibiting, the stand number will be noted below the company name.
- Floor Plan: Navigate SBC Summit’s expo floor with ease using the interactive floor plan. Simply type a company name into the search bar to instantly locate its position on the map. With the showfloor strategically segmented by industry vertical, there’s plenty to explore — and this feature will be your go-to tool for finding exhibitors quickly and making the most of your time onsite.
On the right-hand side, you’ll find an additional navigation menu that provides easy access to the following features:
- Helpdesk: Connect with an SBC representative for any questions you may have.
- Alerts: Quickly view all important alerts and updates shared by us.
- Shortcuts: Effortlessly navigate to your profile, schedule, messages, and favourites.
